BETH EL HIGH HOLY DAY
ONLINE ETIQUETTE

  • Everyone will be muted during the course of the Holy Day services on Zoom. Rabbi Katz will unmute at the end (as we do each Friday) to wish each other a Shanah Tovah.
  • If you join us on Zoom, remember that if your camera is on, everyone can see you. Please keep this in mind to avoid distraction from our worship service. If you need to turn your camera off, that is fine, you will still be able to see the service.
  • If you are planning on being visible, we ask that you consider dressing up for the occasion - just as you would if you came to services at Beth El.  It does not have to be fancy or suit and tie, but casual clothing that would be appropriate for a worship service.
  • If you cannot or choose not to fast on Yom Kippur, please refrain from eating or drinking visibly in front of your Zoom camera.
