Join Rabbi Katz and members of Congregation Beth El for a remarkable evening of music and meaning at the UT Tyler Bands Concert.

The program will feature two Yiddish pieces and Debbie Friedman’s beloved “Mi Shebeirach”—presented in a new arrangement by composer Peter Cohn, who will be in attendance for the debut performance of his work.

These selections are part of Cohn’s larger musical project, Letters to Binka—a moving love letter to his unknown Yiddish-speaking grandmother, weaving together memory, language, and Jewish musical tradition.
